A bumper weekend of football begins tonight — and it is a huge one across Europe as the end of the season draws ever closer.

Premier League champions Manchester City face Newcastle this evening as we turn our attention to the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A and Bundesliga fixtures coming your way over the next few days.

Newcastle vs Manchester City (8pm, Sky Sports)

Champions Manchester City travel to Newcastle for their first match since their title was confirmed.

Pep Guardiola’s men were crowned after Leicester’s 2-1 victory at Manchester United earlier this week and will now look to finish the domestic season strongly ahead of their maiden Champions League final.

After a stop-start first half of the campaign, City have blown away all before them in the past five months and Oleksandr Zinchenko has been one of the squad members to step up in a big way.

We turn the spotlight on the Ukrainian after he became one of the unlikely heroes of the the club's fifth Premier League title triumph.

Premier League previews

The domestic focus is on the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Leicester on Saturday — but that does not mean there are not big games to savour in the top flight.

West Ham’s trip to Brighton headlines Saturday’s action, with anything other than three points likely to spell the end of their top-four ambitions.

And the race for the European spots also draws our attention on Sunday, when Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton will look for victories as they bid to finish in the top seven.

LaLiga title race hots up

With two rounds of games to play, the LaLiga title race continues to deliver twists and turns after more dramatic midweek action.

The ball is still in Atletico Madrid’s court and two more wins will see them named champions — but Real Madrid are lurking two points behind them ready to pounce.

Stick with us for all the news ahead of Atleti’s clash with Osasuna and Real’s trip to Athletic Bilbao, as well as all the big games at the bottom.

Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have already been crowned champions in Serie A and the Bundesliga respectively but there is still plenty to play for.

In Italy, Juventus are in danger of not qualifying for the Champions League with Atalanta, AC Milan and Napoli all sitting ahead of them with two games to go.

It is a similar story in Germany, where Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt are all battling it out for the final two spots in the top four behind Bayern and RB Leipzig.
