The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams were the best two teams in the NFL last season and Seattle’s narrow win in the NFC Championship game opened the door for their dominant Super Bowl success over the New England Patriots.
The Pats were somewhat flattered by the scoreline, 29-13 to the Seahawks, and the betting suggests that NFC teams will dominate this year’s NFL.
The Los Angeles Rams are heavy favourites after they brought in Myles Garrett and persuaded Aaron Donald out of retirement in the offseason, putting together the two most dominant pass rushers of their generation.
As well as that, the Rams splashed the cash on cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson as they spent big to revolutionise their defence.
However, off-the-field issues mean that wide receiver Puka Nacua and left tackle Alaric Jackson may be suspended, while last year’s MVP Matthew Stafford is 39 years old.
They need him to stay healthy to have any chance and that looks to be too much of a risk at such a short price.
Bills could finally succeed
The Buffalo Bills have continually been the nearly men over the last decade in the NFL, falling short against the Kansas City Chiefs’ winning machine time and time again.
However, Sean McDermott is gone and Joe Brady could breathe new life into this team, marshalled by outstanding quarterback Josh Allen.
They have added receiver D. J. Moore from Chicago, while Dee Alford, C. J. Gardner-Johnson and Bradley Chubb will add depth on defence.
The Bills’ freshening up could be enough to see them finally get over the line in a weakened AFC and realise Allen’s potential as a Super Bowl winner.

Seahawks better value than Rams
The money has continued to pour in for the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC but they now look too short in the Super Bowl market in comparison to the team that they are trying to topple, the Seattle Seahawks.
The pair split their two regular season meetings before Seattle eventually got the better of them in the play-offs and the Seahawks have a young defence which will continue to cause teams plenty of issues.
The Dark Side, as they are known, could be a stronger overall unit than the Rams, despite their big spending over the offseason.
Seattle may not have had the splashy summer of their rivals but they looked like a team still improving last season and they may have been underestimated in the market as they look to follow up on last year’s success.
