  • Bristol Rovers are chasing a sixth successive victory in League Two when they host Crawley Town on Saturday.

  • Second meets first in what feels like a title decider when MK Dons take on leaders Bromley at 12:30 pm.

  • Newport and Harrogate clash in a relegation six-pointer between two of the league’s bottom three teams at Rodney Parade.

There is another full 12-game set of League Two fixtures on the horizon, with the bulk of the action pencilled in for Saturday, April 11th following Friday night’s entry between Colchester and Swindon.

On Saturday, second-place MK Dons’ televised title tussle with leaders Bromley at 12:30 pm should attract plenty of attention, though plenty of other high-impact fixtures take place later the same afternoon.

As always, we’ve assembled free predictions for every single League Two fixture on Friday and Saturday, starting with Colchester’s clash with Swindon at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Colchester vs Swindon (Friday, 7:45 pm)

Colchester enjoyed a win at Tranmere (1-0) on Monday, though they needed a string of saves from keeper Matt Macey to prevail and toppling Swindon could be a tougher ask. The visitors have won three and drawn two of their last five games in League Two and remain in the automatic promotion conversation. Colchester are winless in four attempts at home, so don’t be surprised if they slip up again here.

Score prediction: Colchester 0-1 Swindon

Bristol Rovers vs Crawley Town (Saturday, 12:30 pm)

Bristol Rovers made it five wins from five with their 3-2 success at Harrogate on Monday, a win that was aided by a brace from sub Ellis Harrison. Crawley meanwhile, lost for the first time under new manager, Colin Kazim-Richards, when they slipped to a 2-0 reverse at Grimsby on the same day, while also losing key midfielder Jay Williams to a red card. Town have won only twice on the road in the league since September and without Williams’ bite, they might struggle again against the in-form Pirates.

Score prediction: Bristol Rovers 2-0 Crawley Town

MK Dons vs Bromley (Saturday, 12:30 pm)

Head Coach Paul Warne was “satisfied” with second-place MK Dons’ 1-1 draw with a vastly improved Oldham on Monday, however, the promotion chasers have now gone four games without a win. A test against leaders Bromley looks like another tough one to pass. The visitors haven’t been playing with much fluency of late, however, they have still lost only one of their last 24 League Two fixtures since September and they can avoid defeat again at Stadium MK.

Score prediction: MK Dons 1-1 Bromley

Accrington Stanley vs Fleetwood Town (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Accrington Stanley had a fruitless outing at Gillingham on Easter Monday, losing the match 2-0 and two players to red cards in the process. The loss of striker Tyler Walton to suspension, in particular, should hamper the Accies’ chances of bouncing back on Saturday. Fleetwood lost a rollercoaster clash with Barnet (5-2) earlier this week, though Town have only lost two of their last eight away games in League Two and they can take points off Stanley.

Score prediction: Accrington Stanley 1-1 Fleetwood Town

Barnet vs Barrow (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Barnet’s thumping win at Fleetwood (5-2) on Monday was their third victory in four assignments, and moved them to within four points of the Playoff positions. With their form on the up, Barnet should have too much quality for Barrow. The visitors have failed to score in three of their last four games and registered just a single shot on target in their last outing against Chesterfield (0-1).

Score prediction: Barnet 2-0 Barrow

Cambridge Utd vs Notts County (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Cambridge (4th) were denied three points at Cheltenham on Monday when Jake Eastwood scored an unfortunate own goal in the 91st minute, though they have a chance to strike a big blow in the race for promotion when they host Notts County (3rd). The Magpies eased to victory over Newport (3-1) when last seen, however, they continue to stutter on the road, where they have failed to win four of their last seven fixtures. Cambridge could take advantage of County’s travel sickness.

Score prediction: Cambridge Utd 1-0 Notts County

Chesterfield vs Tranmere Rovers (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

A solitary second-half strike from James Berry earned Chesterfield three points at Barrow on Monday and that was the Spireites’ third 1-0 victory in a row. Paul Cook’s men have been defending brilliantly in recent weeks and they should be able to keep misfiring Tranmere at arm’s length. Rovers haven’t won since mid-February and have failed to score in five successive fixtures.

Score prediction: Chesterfield 1-0 Tranmere Rovers

Grimsby Town vs Crewe Alexandra (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Grimsby (10th) are building a late head of steam in the race for Playoff positions and their 2-0 win at ten-man Crawley on Monday was their third victory in their last four matches. Crewe (8th), who sit one point and two places ahead of Grimsby, have also won three of their last four, and would have been buoyed by their 1-0 triumph over highflying Salford (6th) earlier this week. These form sides could cancel each other out at

Score prediction: Grimsby Town 1-1 Crewe Alexandra

Newport County vs Harrogate Town (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Two of the division’s bottom three collide when Newport (22nd) and Harrogate (24th) is the very definition of a relegation six-pointer on Saturday. With just one point separating the sides, tensions should be high at Rodney Parade. That could play into visiting Harrogate’s hands. Town have won three of their last five games on the road and another away-day success isn’t out of the question here at Blundell Park.

Score prediction: Newport County 1-2 Harrogate Town

Salford City vs Gillingham (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Salford lost 1-0 at Crewe on Monday and they could have little complaints over the result after their hosts rattled the woodwork three times and had another goal chalked off for offside. The Ammies will want to rebound at the first time of asking when they host Gillingham. The visitors have lost five of their last seven away fixtures and they will kick off Saturday’s latest trip as clear underdogs.

Score prediction: Salford City 2-1 Gillingham

Shrewsbury Town vs Oldham Athletic (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Oldham came from behind to earn a late share of the spoils against MK Dons (1-1) on Monday, though that point could prove a useful on in the Playoff shakeup, especially if they can win at Shrewsbury on Saturday. The Shrews have lost five of their last six games, with the outlier a 1-0 win over a hapless Tranmere. At home, Salop have lost three of their last four matches and a more formidable Oldham have the quality to inflict another defeat on their hosts.

Score prediction: Shrewsbury Town 0-2 Oldham Athletic

Walsall vs Cheltenham Town (Saturday, 3:00 pm)

Walsall were denied what would have been a deserved point by a 92nd-minute Swindon winner on Monday, in a loss that snapped their five-game unbeaten streak. A recovery win over Cheltenham on Saturday would set the Saddlers straight, however, visiting Town are a tough nut to crack. The draw specialists have drawn seven of their last 11 league fixtures and they could set up to frustrate at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

Score prediction: Walsall 1-1 Cheltenham Town
