Los Angeles Dodgers @ Pittsburgh Pirates at 6:40 p.m. EDT on MLB.TV.
The 35-33 Pirates face the 43-25 Dodgers for the final time in this three-game set, with the series tied 1-1. Yesterday's matchup featured a ton of offense with the Pirates winning, 9-8. Pittsburgh rookie outfielder Tyler Callihan was sensational, as he recorded two hits, two home runs, and four RBIs. Yesterday marked the first time all season that Shohei Ohtani allowed more than two earned runs in a game. The rubber meets the road today with Justin Wrobleski starting for the Dodgers and Mitch Keller getting the nod for the Pirates.
One question that will be answered: Considering they've already scored 20 runs in this series, will LA's batters reach home plate at least seven times today?
Atlanta Braves @ Chicago White Sox at 7:40 p.m. EDT on MLB.TV.
The best team in baseball - the 45-23 Braves - looked offensively inept on Wednesday against the 36-31 White Sox, who are going for the sweep of Atlanta later today. Chicago's Davis Martin threw six scoreless innings and struck out six batters, while Luisangel Acuna recorded two hits and an RBI. With that victory, the Sox overtook the Cleveland Guardians for the lead in the AL Central divisional race. To maintain their momentum, Chicago is turning to Anthony Kay. Meanwhile, Martin Perez gets the start for the Braves.
One question that will be answered: Will tonight's game be decided by one run the same way the last two were?
WNBA
New York Liberty @ Atlanta Dream at 7:30 p.m. EDT on WNBA League Pass.
Two of the four best teams in the league go head-to-head for the first time this season when the Liberty travel to Atlanta to take on the Dream. After a rocky start to the 2026 campaign, New York has won five games in a row, which is the second-longest active winning streak in the WNBA. However, Atlanta is 7-3 in its last 10 outings, good for the third-best mark in the league. With mega stars like Angel Reese and Breanna Stewart on the court at the same time, this game will be a must-watch.
One question that will be answered: Will Breanna Stewart have more points than Angel Reese has points and rebounds?
NHL
Vegas Golden Knights @ Carolina Hurricanes Stanley Cup Finals Game Five at 8:00 p.m. EDT on ABC.
Neither team has been able to get an edge over the other in the 2026 Stanley Cup Finals! The series is currently tied at two games apiece after a gutsy performance by the Hurricanes in Las Vegas. With the game tied 3-3 in the third period, Carolina captain Jordan Staal scored a diving backhand goal to break the tie and give the Canes a 4-3 lead. They would go on to win that contest 5-3. Tonight, the series returns to Raleigh, North Carolina, before it goes back to Las Vegas for Game Six. Regardless of who wins this evening, this series will return to Vegas.
One question that will be answered: Will this game be decided in regulation or overtime?
