Wide receiver Alec Pierce, one of the most coveted wideouts available in the free agency Class of 2026, is returning to the Indianapolis Colts on a four-year deal worth $116 million.

TE Travis Kelce expected to return to Kansas City

Jets complete sign-and-trade deal for former All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick

The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets are finalizing a trade that will send former three-time All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to New York in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round draft pick. Additionally, the Jets are expected to sign Fitzpatrick to a three-year, $40 million deal, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.
A five-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-Team All-Pro, Fitzpatrick was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Miami Dolphins last June. There, he started 14 games for the 'Phins, recording an interception, six pass deflections, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and a sack.

CB Montaric Brown re-signs with Jacksonville

Dolphins releasing QB Tua Tagovailoa

The Miami Dolphins are planning to release quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after the new league year begins on March 11th, the team announced. The 'Phins have designated Tagovailoa as a post-June 1st cut, which means his $99.2 million dead cap hit can be spread out over the next two seasons.
"I recently informed Tua and his representation that we are going to move in a new direction at the quarterback position and will be releasing him after the start of the new league year," said general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan in a statement. "As I shared with Tua, I have great respect for the person and player he is. On behalf of the Miami Dolphins, I expressed our gratitude for his many contributions, both on the field and in the community, during his six seasons in Miami. Steelers bringing back CB Asante Samuel Jr.

Cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. is re-signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year, $4 million deal.
After undergoing spinal fusion surgery in April of 2025, Samuel was cleared to play in November, at which point he was signed to the Steelers' practice squad. On December 2nd, he was promoted to the active roster, where he started three games.

Houston and OL Ed Ingram agree to three-year deal

The Houston Texans have agreed to a three-year, $37.5 million deal to bring back guard Ed Ingram. The deal also includes $23.5 million in guarantees.
Ingram, who was taken by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, was traded to the Texans last March for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick. Ingram started 14 games for Houston, playing 98% of the team's offensive snaps.
