Earlier today, the National Football League announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Washington Commanders will be the two host teams participating in the 2026 NFL London games. Both contests will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, located about an hour north of London, England.

The Jaguars' and Commanders' opponents, as well as the dates and times of the games, will be announced when the NFL schedule is released this Spring.

"We look forward to welcoming the Commanders and Jaguars back to London as part of the 2026 NFL international games," said Henry Hodgson, the general manager of NFL U.K. & Ireland. "The NFL London games bring fans together from across the U.K. and beyond, and play a key role in engaging our existing fans as well as creating new audiences and driving NFL fandom in this market."

Jacksonville will have another matchup in the United Kingdom at Wembley Stadium, meaning that the Jags are scheduled to play back-to-back games in England for the third time in franchise history. In the 14 regular-season games the Jaguars have played in the U.K., they have a 7-7 record.

"Last season was my first experience in London as head coach of the Jaguars, and my immediate takeaway was London is undoubtedly our home away from home," Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen said. "We have a passionate and knowledgeable fan base in London, built over time and still growing, and we're making a positive impact with fans throughout the United Kingdom as well... With two games in London in 2026, it's going to be great fun for our fans in London as well as for everyone in Jacksonville who will be making the trip."

This will be the third-ever international game for the Washington Commanders. They previously played games in London in 2016 and Madrid, Spain last season, going 0-1-1 in those two matchups.

"Last season's trip to Madrid was personally unforgettable, and a tremendous milestone for our organization," said Washington Commanders managing partner Josh Harris. "Playing in the NFL's first regular season game in Spain and experiencing the passion of fans was truly special and reaffirmed the power of and excitement for the Commanders and NFL globally. London is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the world. We're grateful for the opportunity to bring the Commanders and NFL football to this unique city."

The NFL is scheduled to play nine international games during the 2026-27 regular season. As of this writing, these contests will be held in England, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and Australia.
