
Yesterday, the voting results for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game were announced.
In the Eastern Conference, the starters are the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Boston Celtics' Jaylen Brown, the New York Knicks' Jalen Brunson, the Detroit Pistons' Cade Cunningham, and the Philadelphia 76ers' Tyrese Maxey. The starting five for the Western Conference is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Luka Dončić of the Los Angeles Lakers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets, and Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs.
Victor Wembanyama won a tiebreaker over the Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards to earn the final starting spot in the West.
Other news and notes:
Luka Dončić led all players with 3.4 million fan votes, while Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with the second-most fan votes (3.21 million).
This will be the first time since 2004 that LeBron James will not be an NBA All-Star Game starter, ending a 21-year streak of starts.
Nikola Jokić finished with the top player ranking in the West, while Cade Cunningham finished first in that category in the East.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jaylen Brown finished first in the media rankings in their respective conferences.
Nikola Jokić had the best weighted score of all players (1.75). The formula for Weighted scores is ([Fan Rank x 2] + Player Rank + Media Rank) ÷ 4.
Portland Trail Blazers small forward Deni Avdija registered a shocking 2.2 million fan votes, the fifth-most amongst all Western Conference players.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will take place at 5:00 p.m. EDT on February 15th. NBA All-Star Weekend kicks off on February 13th with the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
