Jonas Eidevall believes one part of a football club can have a positive impact on another as Arsenal prepare to host Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium in the Women's Super League.
The hosts can draw level on points with leaders and defending champions Chelsea with victory — matching the equivalent of their male counterparts, who sat top of the Premier League heading into the weekend.
The lofty heights lend a feel-good factor to the London Colney training base shared by the two teams, as Eidevall explained: "I definitely think that when the dynamics are very positive in a football club, it's important.
"Also, our management at the club drips down to both teams. I think there are so many positive things in and around the club that benefits both teams and that's probably the main reason why both teams are able to be competing in the top spots for both prospective leagues."
Almost 58,000 tickets have been sold for the clash at the Emirates, which saw a crowd of just 8,705 for the same game in 2021 — but Chelsea boss Emma Hayes insists her players will not be perturbed.
She said: "My team is used to that [crowd]. They play Champions League, domestic league, they all play international football.
"The crowd is something we'll focus on the least amount. We're grateful it's going to be packed because it's more enjoyable when it is.
"I enjoy every game against Arsenal. Top level teams against each other. Jonas [Eidevall] and I like the tactical side.
"You can't approach one game as bigger or smaller than the other. You have to approach every game in exactly the same way.
"You have to do your best in everything you do because that's what top pros do, they're consistent all the time. I genuinely don't approach the game any different."
