York Ebor Festival Day Four predictions: Murtagh to lay Siege on Ebor again

York Ebor Festival Day Four: Best bet, each-way selection and treble
Recommended bets include:
The Ebor Handicap takes centre stage at York on Saturday afternoon as a strong field takes to the Knavesmire for what is one of the most eagerly anticipated handicaps of the season in Britain.
Here is everything you need to know for day four, including the day's best bets.
Day 4 – Key info
First race: 1:50pm Strensall Stakes (Group 3)
Feature race: 3:35pm Ebor Handicap (Heritage Handicap)
The action concludes at York's Ebor Festival on Saturday afternoon with a seven-race card headlined by the Ebor itself, alongside Britain's newest Group 1 race — the City Of York Stakes at 3pm.
Best bet of the day
Siege Of Troy to win the Ebor Handicap (3.35pm) @ 16/1
Johnny Murtagh has saddled two Ebor winners since 2014 and has another excellent contender now in Siege Of Troy. She was fourth behind re-opposing Ethical Diamond at Royal Ascot in June but is a full 15lb better off now when factoring in the claim of teenage star Patrick McGettigan.
The Qatar Racing-owned filly was denied a length in a Leopardstown Group 3 over 1m4f on her most recent start and further improvement could be forthcoming on her first attempt at this trip.
Best each-way bet of the day
Cape Breton each-way in the Melrose Handicap (2.25pm) @ 12/1
Cape Breton was outpaced over 1m2½f here at the Dante Festival in May but Ralph Beckett's Juddmonte-owned son of Frankel easily won upped to 1m4f at Salisbury in June and has run a sound race again at Glorious Goodwood over that trip since.
He competes here from an unchanged mark and that most recent effort was a certain hint that he might relish this new trip. He looks a big price now with LiveScore Bet paying four places in this 12-runner Melrose Handicap.
Day 4 acca
We are providing an accumulator suggestion for each day at York's Ebor Festival and our Day Four treble pays more than 59/1 with LiveScore Bet.
Bet 1: Skukuza to win the Strensall Stakes (1.50pm) @ 5/1
Ryan Moore had Skukuza in a good position at Glorious Goodwood in the Golden Mile but the rain-softened ground appeared to undo their challenge. A Listed winner in Ireland before that, conditions are much more favourable and this does not look the strongest of Group 3s.
Bet 2: Rosallion to win the City Of York Stakes (3.00pm) @ 5/4
This race has been upgraded to Group 1 status this year and Rosallion ensures it has a contender that deserves that billing. The Queen Anne second in June, he just failed to peg back runaway leader Qirat in the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood but emerged with plenty of credit and can reverse that form now.
Bet 3: Silent Applause to win the Julia Graves Roses Stakes (4.45pm) @ 7/2
Charlie Appleby has a strong hand to play in this Listed sprint and the improving Silent Applause may take the plaudits under James Doyle. The recently gelded son of Acclamation is 2-2 over this trip and looks well worthy of a crack in this grade after his Haydock success.
