First race: 13:22 'Jersey Lily' Fillies' Nursery Feature race: 15:40 Cambridgeshire
There is £50,000 on offer for the opening race, the British Stallion Studs EBF 'Jersey Lily' Fillies' Nursery Handicap (13:22) and it looks likely to be a very competitive affair.
The prestigious Royal Lodge Stakes (13:55) follows and hopefully there will be some Classic contenders amongst the field. Our first Group 1 of the day is the Cheveley Park Stakes (14:27) and impressive Moyglare winner SUN GODDESS heads the field.
Then the two-year-old colts get their chance at Group 1 glory in the Middle Park Stakes (15:00), where Charlie Appleby runs Inner City Blues, who takes on Norfolk winner Orthodox.
Saturday's main event is the Cambridgeshire (15:40) and John & Thady Gosden are set to run the thoroughly unexposed Gavriel, who should be well ahead of the handicapper.
The Blandford Bloodstock 25th Anniversary EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes (16:15) is our penultimate race and the action concludes with the Hunt Family Fund Handicap (16:50).

Sun Goddess to win the Cheveley Park Stakes (14:27) @ 11/8
Aidan O'Brien holds a narrow lead at the top of the trainers' championship and a Group 1 win at Newmarket on Saturday would certainly increase his chance of coming out on top.
SUN GODDESS has proven herself to be the best juvenile filly around and should win here.
The daughter of Sioux Nation finished second to Libertango in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot, but has left that run well behind her and has since won four starts in a row.
She beat the boys in the Phoenix Stakes and the runner-up there went on to win the National Stakes.
O'Brien's filly made a mockery of the field in a York sales race after that and it was a similar story when she won the Moyglare Stud Stakes by over six lengths when last seen.
It is very hard to see her getting beaten if she turns up in the same vein of form here.
Best each-way bet of the day
Thunder Run in the Cambridgeshire (15:40) @ 18/1
There are six places on offer with LiveScore bet for the Cambridgeshire and the Karl Burke-trained THUNDER RUN is potentially overpriced.
Burke has won the last two renewals of this race, both of which carried big weights, so the fact that Thunder Run has the heaviest burden of all to carry is not a big negative.
It is hard to know what to make of the drawn bias, as recent history suggests that high numbers have the advantage but the last two winners were drawn low.
Having been drawn in stall 16, he should be fine, provided the five-year-old does not run into much traffic. He won well at Doncaster last time out and a 4lb penalty will not be a problem.

Saturday's three strongest fancies at Newmarket, including our expert's best bet of the day, combine to form a treble which pays 33/1 with LiveScore Bet.

Aidan O'Brien's filly looks like a class above her fellow juveniles and is therefore difficult to oppose. She can provide her trainer with a record-extending seventh win in the race.
Bet 2: Back Inner City Blues to win the Middle Park Stakes (15:00) @ 13/8
Charlie Appleby has been in excellent form lately and he always does well here at Newmarket. INNER CITY BLUES was a smooth winner of the July Stakes last time out and it would be no surprise to see him extend his unbeaten record to three here.
Bet 3: Back Gavriel to win the Cambridgeshire (15:40) @ 9/2
John & Thady Gosden might just have a very well handicapped horse on their hands here and the handicapper has no idea how good GAVRIEL is.
He was last seen winning at Ascot earlier this month and is 2lb well in as a consequence of his 4lb penalty.
