Glorious Goodwood is one of Britain's most treasured summer festivals on the Flat and the action on the famous Sussex Downs is set to continue on Thursday afternoon with more Group 1 fare on offer as the fillies take centre stage.

Glorious Goodwood continues apace on Thursday afternoon with the middle afternoon of five days of top-class racing from the Sussex Downs, with the Nassau Stakes the headline act.

Back Whirl to win the Nassau Stakes (15:05) at 6/4 with LiveScore Bet
Whirl was carried out on her sword in the Epsom Oaks in June as stablemate Minnie Hauk got her measure in a pulsating duel.
This Wootton Bassett filly followed up in the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh and is now 2-2 over this sort of intermediate trip.
Her Epsom conqueror won the Irish Oaks since, while Kalpana – the Pretty Polly runner-up – ran a blinder to be second in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot last Saturday.
Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore have won this Nassau Stakes three times together since 2016, including last year, and have another outstanding prospect here.

Fort George made a winning handicap debut at Newmarket in May over a mile during the Guineas Festival, really powering through the line.
He was beaten a neck in second over a mile here on his next start having gone up 5lb in the ratings.

Roger Varian's charge ran well in the Queen's Vase himself and is 8lb better off with his old foe now. He could turn the tables, particularly if settling a bit better for Silvestre De Sousa as he was keen in front in that York contest.

Whirl lost nothing in defeat when edged out in the Epsom Oaks and has since won the Group 1 Pretty Polly in good style to make it 2-2 at this sort of trip.
Her formlines are strong and this Wootton Basset filly has a lot going for her now for her top connections.
Bet 3: Sea Force to win the World Pool Handicap (17:30) @ 13/2
William Haggas' team are in superb form, with a near 36 per cent strike-rate from 50 runners lately and Sea Force is an improving thee-year-old with strong claims in the finale.
The Nottingham maiden winner was doing all his best work late when third at Ascot on handicap bow this month over a mile behind two progressive rivals.
He is 4lb better off with Knights Gold now and can turn things around with the promise of more to come in first-time cheekpieces.
