The New Lion to win the Champion Hurdle (4.00pm) @ 11/4
Dan Skelton can land the Champion Hurdle with The New Lion. Bar a fall at Newcastle in the Fighting Fifth in November, he is unbeaten so far and he won here last March in the Grade 1 Turners Novices' Hurdle.
The pace of this race could bring about more improvement and he can put the trio of star mares - Golden Ace, Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead - to the sword.

Hyland each-way in the Ultima Handicap Chase (3.20pm) @ 10/1
It is a big day for Nicky Henderson with top hopes in the Supreme and Arkle, but perhaps Hyland is underestimated in the Ultima for the Seven Barrows chief.
He has won three times at Cheltenham, twice over this trip/fences and he is on a good handicap mark based on his last-time-out Ascot run in December. He goes well off a short break and first-time cheekpieces could be the tonic for him.

Willie Mullins elects to run Mighty Park here on only his second start. The French import romped to a 38-length win at Fairyhouse on stable debut and the champion trainer's confidence in him can be rewarded.
Bet 2: Winston Junior to win the Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (2.40pm) @ 6/1
A smart recruit from the Flat, Winston Junior was second in a Triumph Hurdle trial here earlier in the season and then won as he pleased at Ascot to take his hurdles figures to 221.
An opening mark of 131 is manageable and the booking of Jack Kennedy to ride is a sizeable plus.
