Tyrrell Hatton won the BMW PGA Championship in 2020
Rory McIlroy has had four top-two finishes at the BMW PGA
Recommended bets:
Ryder Cup stars Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm head a world-class field teeing it up at Wentworth this week for the 71st running of the BMW PGA Championship.
Market leaders McIlroy and Rahm plus nine of their European Ryder Cup team-mates are adding star quality to the flagship event on the DP World Tour, with American Billy Horschel the defending champion.

Volcanic Tyrrell can shatter the field
Eleven of Europe's Ryder Cup stars will be starring at Wentworth and one of that elite group, Tyrrell Hatton, has to fancy his chances.
Hatton will not be making anywhere near the headlines generated by McIlroy, winner of the Irish Open on Sunday, recently-crowned FedEx champion Tommy Fleetwood or Spanish superstar Rahm.
But the world No.25 is a big player for big occasions now, as evidenced by victory this year at the Dubai Desert Classic prior to a trio of top-20 finishes at three of the four Majors.
Hatton has a fine record around Wentworth, winning this title in 2020 and tying for second behind Ryan Fox two years ago.
At last week's Irish Open he carded three sub-par rounds before fading on Sunday when the big prize was beyond him.

McKibbin to give Rory a run
For likely winners from Northern Ireland few will look past McIlroy, but there is another player from that corner of the UK who can be given a sniff.
Tom McKibbin is one of Northern Ireland's rising stars and showed he could mix it with the big boys 12 months ago by finishing 10th at Wentworth after rounds of 70, 71, 68 and 66.
The 22-year-old is due another win – his only success on Tour was at the European Masters in 2023 – and has enjoyed four top-10s with LIV Golf this year.
Because of his LIV commitments, McKibbin's forays into the DP World Tour are rare, but when he does he can land some blows, such as his sixth place in Dubai and third in Singapore.
He finished T20 at the K Club last week and can build on that in Surrey where he performed so well last year.

Angel is heaven-sent at a big price
At an even bigger price, be sure that Spain's Angel Ayora is a talented young star with big-field bottle.
At last week's Irish Open he was in the mix all week, finishing in a tie for fifth just a week after finishing eighth at the European Masters. A week before that he came home T13 at the British Masters.
You need to be able to produce with your driver at Wentworth and Ayora was second behind McIlroy in strokes gained off the tee at the K Club, which has to augur well.
