Over 2.5 Goals acca pays at 9/1 with LiveScoreBet
Wolfsburg vs Borussia Dortmund – 2:30 pm (Bundesliga)
With leaders Bayern Munich not in action until Sunday, Borussia Dortmund can close to within three points of their table-topping rivals with a victory at Wolfsburg on Saturday, and with that providing extra motivation, we expect the visitors to play with the breaks off at the Volkswagen Arena.
Dortmund managed to score three goals in each of their last five Bundesliga fixtures and three of those games saw 5+ goals in total. Two of their last three encounters with Wolfsburg have also produced at least four goals, so expect more excitement here.
Bournemouth vs Aston Villa – 3 pm (Premier League)
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth enjoy testing themselves against the Premier League’s biggest names and the Cherries have already scored 2+ goals in meetings with Chelsea (2-2), Arsenal (2-3), Tottenham (3-2), Newcastle (3-3, FA Cup) and Liverpool (3-2) since Christmas.
Bournemouth will fancy their chances of running through an injury-hit Villa midfield on Saturday, so expect them to trade blows with their high-flying visitors. Over 2.5 goals has landed in four of the teams’ last six meetings and we’re backing that pattern to continue.
Coventry vs Oxford – 3 pm (Championship)
Championship leaders Coventry have hit some patchy form, however, a date at home with second-from-bottom Oxford could allow the Sky Blues to clear the air. League games at the CBS Arena have been averaging 3.0 goals per 90 minutes this term, with Coventry notching 31 of the 42 goals scored there themselves.
Visiting Oxford were well beaten at Sheffield United (3-1) in midweek, and they are likely to find the going just as tough against Coventry this weekend. Six of the Sky Blues’ last nine home assignments have rewarded over 2.5 goal bettors, and the same market appeals for this one.
Barcelona vs Mallorca – 3:15 pm (La Liga)
Barcelona have already scored a sizzling 60 goals in just 22 La Liga fixtures this season, while 18 of the same fixtures have produced over 2.5 goals. Hansi Flick’s title favourites have too much firepower for most of their domestic opponents and Barca can prove that again when Mallorca visit.
Each of Mallorca’s last five matches in the division have seen over 2.5 goals, as did their last meeting with Barcelona in August. Barca had 24 attempts in a 3-0 win on that occasion, and they can cut loose in the final third again here.
NEC vs Heracles – 3:30 pm (Eredivisie)
We included Eredivisie surprise package NEC in last week’s acca (vs Alkmaar) and they didn’t let us down, beating AZ 3-1. That was the 17th time in 20 league games involving NEC this term where over 2.5 goals were scored, so we’re sticking with them on Saturday.
Heracles are the visitors to Nijmegen, a team that has the Eredivisie’s worst defensive record by a distance since August. The strugglers have shipped 53 goals already, which is ten more than they next worst defenders (PEC Zwolle). NEC could run up a big score here.
Grasshoppers vs Young Boys – 7:30 pm (Super League)
We conclude in the Swiss Super League with the evening encounter between Grasshoppers and Young Boys. The visitors have been reliable performers in the over 2.5 goal stakes this season, with 77% of their league games beating that target and 82% of their away matches producing 3+ goals.
Grasshoppers shocked Young Boys with a 6-2 win in December’s reverse fixture, while the teams’ 3-3 draw before that in October also bristled with action. With those markets laid down, we’re banking on another goal glut in Saturday’s skirmish.
