Qarabag vs CSKA Sofia (Europa League Qualifiers) – 17:00
Azerbaijani outfit Qarabag have been regulars on the European stage for several season now, and they can lean on their superior experience to claim a first-leg advantage when they host CSKA Sofia in the first leg of the teams’ UEL qualification double header.
Qarabag made it to the knockout phase of the Champions League last season, where they were beaten by Newcastle, however, they did take the scalps of Eintracht Frankfurt (3-2), FC Copenhagen (2-0) and Benfica (3-2), while also holding Chelsea at home (2-2).
Visiting CSKA Sofia meanwhile, haven’t seen European action since 2023, so they might find the going tough in Baku against their more seasoned hosts. Back Qarabag to edge this one.
Recommended bet: Qarabag to Win – 13/25

Hammarby vs Anderlecht (Europa League Qualifiers) – 18:00
Hammarby are already 14 games deep into the new Allsvenskan campaign and they’ve been purring along nicely domestically, winning eight games to position themselves in second place.
With their match-fitness sharper, they’ve been edged ahead in the win markets ahead of their tussle with Anderlecht in Sweden, however, it still makes more sense to back the visitors to avoid defeat.
Anderlecht haven’t played a competitive fixture since the end of May, though a promising end to their pre-season programme saw them earn wins over strong AZ Alkmaar (1-0) and NEC Nijmegen (3-2) sides.
Hammarby meanwhile, have little to no European pedigree and regularly fall at the first qualification hurdle and an Anderlecht side buoyed by their friendly wins can leave the Swedes disappointed again.
Recommended bet: Anderlecht Double Chance – 11/20

FCSB vs FK Auda (Conference League Qualifiers) – 18:45
Latvian minnows FK Auda return for another bash at continental qualification having fallen short in their efforts last year, though we expect them to be second best again when they travel to Bucharest.
Auda were ousted by Northern Irish side Larne in the first round of last year’s Conference League qualifiers, which illustrates the kind of level they operate at.
FCSB meanwhile, competed in the Europa League proper last term, where they competed well, enjoying wins over Feyenoord (4-3) and Go Ahead Eagles (1-0) before their elimination.
They started their new domestic campaign in Romania last week with a comfortable 2-0 win at home to FC Arges and they can use that steady showing as a platform for more success against FK Auda.
Recommended bet: FCSB to Win – 6/25

FC Twente vs Ferencvaros (Europa League Qualifiers) – 19:00
Both FC Twente and Ferencvaros made it all the way to the knockout rounds of last season’s Europa League proper, so expect a competitive clash in the Netherlands when they collide on Thursday evening.
Twente managed to score in 100% of their five pre-season friendlies, while the summer capture of veteran striker Wout Weghorst adds an extra dimension to a frontline that already had quality in Kristian Hlynsson and Daan Rots.
Ferencvaros scored five times across their two encounters with Vojvodina in the previous round of the UEL qualifiers, while they’ve notched at least once in 24 of the last 26 fixtures they’ve contested in all competitions and friendlies overall.
Recommended bet: Both Teams to Score – 7/10

Besiktas vs Midtjylland (Europa League Qualifiers) – 19:15
Besiktas’s skirmish with Midtjylland has the potential to be one of the more exciting UEL qualifiers on Thursday’s slate, and with goal markets ripe for plundering, we recommend backing both teams to register in Istanbul.
The hosts will be under the instruction of new head coach, Vincenzo Italiano, in a competitive fixture for the first time, so expect plenty of attacking impetus of Besiktas, even if summer signing Leandro Trossard sits the game out.
Midtjylland meanwhile, have attacked with venom in pre-season, netting 4+ goals in each of their last three games, which included a 6-0 thrashing of Cardiff in Wales. Expect both teams to impact the scoresheet in Turkey.
Recommended bet: Both Teams to Score – 3/4

Partizan Belgrade vs FC Una Strassen (Conference League Qualifiers) – 20:00
Partizan are heavy odds-on favourites to ease to a first-leg triumph over Luxembourg’s FC Una Strassen on Thursday, and this does like the kind of tie that the Serbian giants will aim to put to bed as quickly as possible.
The hosts opened their domestic campaign with a frustrating 2-2 draw at Zemun last weekend after they conceded an injury-time equaliser. They did muster 24 shots and eight attempts on target in that assignment however, numbers that suggest chance creation won’t be a problem in midweek.
Una Strassen squeezed past San Marino’s La Fiorita in the previous round of the qualifiers, though they failed to score in two meetings with Dundee at this stage of the Conference League qualification process last year and failed to register in both legs versus KuPS at the same point in 2024.
Partizan have enough quality to keep their visitors off the scoresheet in similar style in Belgrade. The hosts are 1/5 to win the game, but are much keener price of 19/20 to win to nil, and that’s the direction we recommend taking.
Recommended bet: Partizan to Win to Nil – 19/20
