Unbeaten Barnet have top spot in their sights as they prepare to host struggling Swindon.
Shrewsbury have lost only one of their last six assignments in the division ahead of their trip to take on bottom-club Crawley.
Exeter have kept three successive clean sheets. Can the mean Grecians shut out Crewe at St. James’ Park?
Continental football will attract the most attention in midweek, but there is also a full 12-game slate from League Two for domestic fans to follow on Tuesday, October 20th.
Below, we have free betting tips and selections for all 12 games from Tuesday’s programme, with prices for each take from LiveScore Bet’s latest League Two odds*.
*Odds correct as of October 19th at 08:55

Barnet vs Swindon Town (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Barnet (2nd) extended their unbeaten start to the new League Two campaign to nine games on Saturday, when they came from behind to beat Tranmere (2-1) at Prenton Park thanks to a brace from Kabongo Tshimanga. They return to the Hive Stadium on Tuesday, where they’ve claimed ten points from 12, and the Bees are short-priced favourites to prevail again.
Visiting Swindon (18th) took a five-minute lead against Walsall at the weekend but could only draw (1-1) and Town are now winless in six attempts in the league. Ian Holloway’s toothless outfit failed to score in four of those matches and they lack the firepower to compete with Barnet here.
Score prediction: Barnet 3-0 Swindon Town

Bristol Rovers vs Salford City (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Bristol Rovers slumped to their fifth loss in six League Two assignments on Saturday when they were beaten 1-0 at a Shrewsbury side that finished the game with nine men. Rovers didn’t create a single big chance against Salop and are suffering from a crisis in confidence following their dismal run.
Salford meanwhile, overcame bottom-club Crawley (2-1) last time out, and while their performance wasn’t totally convincing, a double from Macaulay Langstaff got them over the line. The league-leading Ammies have now won seven of their last eight league games, however, the markets still have them as slight underdogs here. Back in-form City to avoid defeat at favourable odds.
Score prediction: Bristol Rovers 1-2 Salford City
Back Salford City Double Chance against Salford City at 1/2 with LiveScore Bet
Cheltenham Town vs Fleetwood Town (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Cheltenham put in arguably their worst shift of the campaign so far on Saturday when they were hammered 4-1 by out-of-form Oldham. Manager Steve Cotterill said his team were “nowhere near good enough” in the aftermath. That was Cheltenham’s third loss in a row and that’s triggered a slide down to 8th spot in the standings.
Fleetwood enjoyed a cosy 2-0 home win over Rotherham in their last test to earn a third victory of the season, however, they haven’t won on the road since the opening weekend. Cheltenham will be motivated to right a few wrongs after their weekend debacle, so don’t be surprised if they turn over a Fleetwood side that doesn’t travel well.
Score prediction: Cheltenham Town 2-1 Fleetwood Town

Chesterfield vs Colchester United (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Chesterfield never got going and created just 0.26 in expected goals in their drab 1-0 loss at Port Vale on Saturday, though that was the first time in 12 matches in all competitions that the Spireites failed to score. Back at the SMH Group Stadium on Tuesday evening, where they’ve won four on the bounce in league and cup, Chesterfield could rebound, however.
Colchester were held at home by Exeter (0-0) at the weekend and are now seven games without a win in League Two. The U’s, who failed to score in each of their last two tests in the division, have yet to force a win on the road this term, and they’ve been conceding an average of 2.0 goals per away game since August.
Score prediction: Chesterfield 2-1 Colchester United
Back Chesterfield to Win against Colchester United at 8/13 with LiveScore Bet
Crawley Town vs Shrewsbury Town (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Crawley were spirited in their encounter with leaders Salford at the weekend, but ultimately lost (2-1) for the sixth time in nine League Two assignments to remain bottom of the pile. They’re the only team in the division yet to post a win on home soil and they’ve been averaging less than a goal per game in front of their own fans.
A late George Lloyd penalty earned Shrewsbury a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers on Saturday, though Salop lost Jay Turner-Cooke and Isaac Fletcher to red cards after that, and both players will be suspended on Tuesday. Still, Shrewsbury have lost only once in six outings in the league and they can secure at least a point at the Broadfield Stadium.
Score prediction: Crawley Town 1-1 Shrewsbury Town

Exeter City vs Crewe Alexandra (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Exeter kept a third successive clean sheet on Saturday when they earned a share of the spoils at Colchester and the Grecians’ three-game unbeaten surge has pushed them to within striking distance of the playoff positions. That was the eighth league fixture in a row involving City where under 2.5 goals landed, however.
Highflying Crewe have pocketed 100% of the last nine points on offer and they showed a clinical edge on Saturday, scoring three times from four shots on target against Rochdale (3-2). Alexandra are still unbeaten on the road, though they’ve scored only four times in five away fixtures, so they might struggle to breach the division’s meanest defence on Tuesday.
Score prediction: Exeter City 0-0 Crewe Alexandra

Northampton Town vs Tranmere Rovers (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Goals from Matty Warhurst and Jon Guthrie earned Northampton an excellent 2-0 win at Grimsby on Saturday, a victory that allowed the Cobblers to climb out of the relegation places. Improving Town have now lost only twice in their last seven matches in League Two and they’ve been priced as favourites to beat Tranmere at Sixfields on Tuesday.
Rovers are winless in six games following their 2-1 reverse at home to Barnet at the weekend and they’ve yet to register an away win in League Two this term. Tranmere did score in each of their last four assignments in the division however, and a single goal in midweek could be enough to scrape a draw against low-scoring Northampton.
Score prediction: Northampton Town 1-1 Tranmere Rovers
Back Tranmere Rovers Double Chance vs Northampton at 4/7 with LiveScore Bet
Rochdale vs Grimsby Town (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Rochdale were three goals down by the hour mark against Crewe on Saturday, but rallied late and cut the deficit to 3-2 by the end. Buoyed by that showing, the Dale will be targeting a win when they host struggling Grimsby on Tuesday. Rochdale came out on top in three of their last four matches at Crown Oil Arena and they can harness home advantage again here.
Grimsby’s weekend loss to Northampton (0-2) was their fourth defeat in a row in League Two, and to compound their misery, Edon Pruti picked up a serious injury in the second half, not long after Doug Tharme had to be withdrawn, too. Not much is going right for the Mariners at present and they could slip up again at Rochdale.
Score prediction: Rochdale 2-1 Grimsby Town
Back Rochdale to Win against Grimsby Town at 21/10 with LiveScore Bet
Rotherham United vs Newport County (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Rotherham limped to a fourth straight loss in all competitions with their 2-0 defeat at Fleetwood on Saturday and the Millers failed to score in three of those games. Alex Bruce’s side haven’t forced a win at home in League Two since the end of August, so it makes little sense to back them on Tuesday.
Newport meanwhile, pushed their unbeaten streak in the league to six fixtures with their 1-1 draw against ten-man York on Saturday. The well-organised Exiles conceded just three goals combined across those games and Hayden Mullins’s side are robust enough in defence to frustrate Rotherham.
Score prediction: Rotherham United 1-1 Newport County

Walsall vs Oldham Athletic (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Still unbeaten Walsall drew for the seventh time in ten League Two outings since the summer when they came from behind to earn parity at Swindon (1-1) on Saturday. Six of those stalemates have arrived inside the Saddlers’ last seven fixtures, though they have a shot at snapping their drawing habit against Oldham.
The Latics thumped Cheltenham 4-1 at Boundary Park at the weekend, though they are still vulnerable travellers and lost three and drew one of their first four away contests of the campaign. Indeed, only Port Vale (0-0) have collected fewer points on the road than Oldham, so back Walsall to nick this one.
Score prediction: Walsall 1-0 Oldham Athletic
Back Under 2.5 Goals in Walsall vs Oldham at 23/25 with LiveScore Bet
York City vs Accrington Stanley (Tuesday, 7:45 pm)
Despite playing a man down for more than an hour in Wales, York hung on for a well-earned point at Newport (1-1) on Saturday, though the playoff chasers have now won only once in four attempts in League Two. They’ve dropped only two out of 15 points on their own patch since their promotion however, so expect York to push hard for victory on Tuesday.
Accrington Stanley impressed in their 3-1 home triumph over Gillingham at the weekend, though a first away win of the season remains elusive. The Accies have already lost at Barnet and Walsall this term, and on Tuesday, they travel to take on another member of the top five. York are the highest-scoring home team in League Two so far and they can flex their attacking muscle again here.
Score prediction: York City 2-1 Accrington Stanley
Back York City to Score Over 1.5 Goals against Accrington Stanley at 4/7 with LiveScore Bet
Gillingham vs Port Vale (Tuesday, 8:00 pm)
Gillingham’s upswing in results in September has been followed by an inconsistent October, much to manager Gareth Ainsworth’s frustration. Their display in a 3-1 loss at Accrington Stanley on Saturday was well below standard, though the Gills have kept three clean sheets in a row at home, with those shutouts earning them seven points from nine at the Priestfield Stadium.
Back-to-back home wins over Grimsby (1-0) and Chesterfield (1-0) have moved Port Vale clear of the drop zone. The Valiants have now won three home matches on the spin by the same scoreline, however, they have lost 100% of their six away games in all competitions since the summer, and their travel sickness is unlikely to end on Tuesday.
Score prediction: Gillingham 1-0 Port Vale
