Newport’s wait for a first win since the opening weekend goes on after County’s 0-0 draw at Accrington Stanley last weekend. The Exiles have scored just two goals in their last four League Two fixtures combined, though they’ve been falling on the wrong side of some fine margins.
Grimsby meanwhile, are up to third following back-to-back home wins against Crawley and Bristol Rovers.
