GOAL

According to Sky, Ebnoutalib is on the wish lists of several top clubs. Eintracht Frankfurt want to improve the striker’s contract.

According to the report, Juventus Turin, where Germany striker Nick Woltemade has played on loan since the summer, and Tottenham Hotspur are the biggest names among the numerous clubs reportedly interested in the 23-year-old.

Exactly two years ago today, Ebnoutalib played 74 minutes for FC Gießen in a 3-0 defeat to FSV Frankfurt in the Regionalliga Südwest. At the start of 2025, he moved to SV Elversberg for €50,000. He eased into professional football there, playing 42 minutes across four second-division matches and two minutes across two brief appearances in the Bundesliga promotion play-off.

Since then, the Frankfurt-born player's rise has been relentless. An outstanding half-season with Elversberg earned him an €8 million winter move to Eintracht. His market value has risen by almost 16,000 per cent in twelve months.

An injury in his second game for SGE slowed the striker's rise. Ebnoutalib had scored his first Bundesliga goal on his debut against BVB (3-3).

Younes Ebnoutalib makes Germany debut under Jürgen Klopp

After recovering from a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee, the 23-year-old picked up where he left off. His first two appearances for Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp's squad in the Nations League marked the high point of his rise so far. With six goals and one assist, Ebnoutalib is currently one of the Bundesliga's top strikers.

His contract runs until 2031, and he now stands to receive a substantial salary adjustment. Board member for sport Markus Krösche was originally due to conduct talks, but his departure has left them to Joti Chatzialexiou, who will work for Eintracht from February.
