In the latest Pub Chat episode, which was a special edition for the Derby della Madonnina, Lorenzo and Stefano provided their scoreline predictions for the big game.

The pressure is on Milan to clinch all three points this evening, following what was a misstep against Bologna mid-week. The fact that Inter are seven points ahead right now also acts as fuel, since they could extend the gap to ten points with a win.

Luckily for Ruben Amorim, some key players are back at his disposal and it should at least mean that Milan will be competitive in the game. Without Adrien Rabiot, for example, it would have been very difficult to win the midfield battle.

In yesterday’s Pub Chat episode, which looked at the derby, Lorenzo and Stefano provided their scoreline predictions. It’s safe to say that they didn’t exactly leave us with a lot of optimism, both predicting a loss for Milan.

Stefano: “Given the starting eleven, which I don’t think will be balanced, it should be ebbing and flowing with possession. That said, I think we will play with the right intensity and that will help us in the game.

“I just think it’s going to be a relatively decent balanced affair, and if I were to hazard a guess on the scoreline, I do think we lose this. I think we lose this 2-0, personally. I just… I’m really worried about what we do in attack to create.”

Lorenzo: “Yeah, I mean, I’m a little bit more positive. I think we get a goal, but I do think we lose. But I think we get a goal, which is ironic because I think we have struggled in attack.

“It’s just the defence that really worries me. As you said, De Winter and Pavlovic are overworked. I do think a loss as well, but I think 3-1. I think we will concede quite a lot. That’s my prediction,” he said.
