AC Milan had another night to forget in the Europa League on Thursday as they were beaten 2-0 by high-flying Ferencvaros.

Milan needed to bounce back having lose two of their first three games in the competition, and despite being buoyed by Saturday’s derby win over Inter, they managed to deliver their worst performance of the season.

Joseph scored both goals the the visitors in the second half, but they could have taken the lead well before that and were fully deserving of their win. Milan now face an uphill battle to finish in the top 24, with a trip to Greece to face Olympiacos up next in the UEL fixture list.

Ruben Amorim pulled no punches in his post-match comments, talking about the attitude and quality that was lacking from his team, while he apparently gave the players a long speech in the dressing room too to make his frustrations further known.
