Watch: Cardinale arrives at Milanello and will attend Sassuolo-Milan tomorrow

Gerry Cardinale arrived at Milanello earlier today, showing his support for the team ahead of Sassuolo-Milan tomorrow evening.

The long international break has (finally) come to an end and Milan will be back in action tomorrow, taking on Sassuolo away from home. While they performed really well against Lecce, there’s no way of telling if the Rossoneri have been able to keep up the momentum during the break.

What we do know is that Ruben Amorim is leaning into that performance, expected to switch from a three-man backline to the 4-2-3-1 formation instead. Whether there will be enough defensive balance against Sassuolo remains to be seen, though.

Cardinale ready for Sassuolo-Milan

As captured by the journalists present at Milanello ahead of Amorim’s press conference at 14:00, Cardinale arrived at the training ground earlier today. The Milan owner has been a lot more present this season and ahead of tomorrow’s game, he wanted to show his support.

Cardinale is also expected to be at the Mapei Stadium tomorrow, where Milan won their Scudetto in the 2021-22 season. It’s a very special place for the Rossoneri fans, in other words, and the American will get to experience it for the first time. Let’s hope he gets a win to celebrate too.
