The podcast crew are all optimistic about AC Milan’s game against Lecce this evening, tipping them to win and to keep a clean sheet.

After the draws against Juventus and Lazio, Milan really need to bounce back with a win in the league and they have a perfect opportunity tonight. Lecce may have won their most recent game (3-2 against Monza), but they haven’t looked that great at the start of this season.

Ruben Amorim is set to make quite a few changes to the starting eleven, fielding the likes of Luka Modric, Adrien Rabiot, and Christian Pulisic from start. Back to the roots, in many ways, with stability needed to change the first-half trend.

When discussing the game in the latest podcast episode, Oliver, Anthony and Ahmed didn’t seem to be worried about the outcome. All of them tipped the Rossoneri to win, with Oliver even going as far as a 3-0 win.

Oliver: “I’m going to say a 3-0 win. I think we’ll give a nice little statement here, Camarda to score!”

Anthony: “Yeah, Lecce suck, we’re going to win this. The difference here, and I don’t even mean this as an insult to Allegri, but the way Allegri’s system works is that it’s such a sit back and defend style. That means you struggle against those smaller sides. I’ll go 2-0.”

Ahmed: “This upcoming run will be Amorim’s toughest test I think, in terms of which players he chooses, what combinations to put on the field and so on. It’s a tough run. But yeah, I also think we will win this 2-0.”
