Udinese confirm Runjaic’s dismissal: only Zanetti’s signature remains outstanding

The official announcement of the German manager’s departure has arrived.

After days of deliberation, Udinese have decided to sack Kosta Runjaic as first-team manager. He pays the price for eight matches without a win. Their only league victory came against Monza on 29 August.

The club confirmed his departure today. Udinese contacted Paolo Zanetti in recent days, and he only needs to sign to become their new manager.

THE STATEMENT: "Udinese Calcio announce that they have relieved Kosta Runjaic of his duties as first-team manager. The manager and Udinese part ways after more than two years marked by the achievement of important objectives. The club sincerely thank Kosta and his assistants Małecki and Trukan and wish them every success in their professional careers."
