Torino, Abate: “I won’t sleep tonight. The lads didn’t deserve to come away with a defeat”
The manager speaks after the defeat to Como
Torino manager Ignazio Abate reacts to his side's 1-3 home defeat to Como.
"When you lose, I'm always angry. First and foremost because of the result, but we played the game we had to play. We defended in a mid-block, then dropped a little too deep," reports TMW.
"We were playing against the strongest team at keeping possession. The margin of defeat is too heavy. We had some big chances to score."
"I take a lot of positives from this, but when I lose I'm p****d off, and I won't sleep tonight. It's a shame: the big teams punish you at the slightest opportunity."
"The lads didn't deserve to come away with a defeat. We must be aware of what we showed; no one can take that away from us. Now we keep working with our heads down."
