Sandro Tonali has once again affirmed his love for AC Milan, the club that he grew up supporting and was able to play for.

Tonali gave a longer interview to Sky Italia, which will be published in the coming days. Today, during Peppe Di Stefano’s live broadcast from Milanello, one of its excerpts was revealed, obviously referring to his attachment and affection for Milan and the Rossoneri colours.

As a Milan fan since childhood, the midfielder achieved his dream of playing for the club wearing the legendary number eight jersey for three seasons, winning a historic Scudetto and leading the team to the 2023 Champions League semi-finals.

The excerpt has been relayed by MilanVibes, with more to come from the interview in the coming days.

“Always, after a year or two, but even in twenty years. I’ll always be a Milanista, that will never change. I always follow them when I have time, and it will always be that way throughout my life,” he said.

After moving to Spurs in the summer for a fee close to €116m, the Italian midfielder hasn’t had a brilliant start to the season with his new team, which only achieved its first Premier League win last Monday against bottom club Coventry City.

There continues to be talk of a return to Milan one day in the future, and the former Brescia star himself even admitted that he had decided to come back to Italy in the summer before Spurs came in.
