The three-week international break is over, and now AC Milan face a potential season-defining three week stretch of games.

Milan will certainly not be eased back into action after the extended break. From October 11 to 31, they face Sassuolo (away), RB Salzburg (away), Atalanta (home), Bournemouth (away), Udinese (away), Bologna (home) and Inter (home). It is a packed and travel-heavy schedule.

There are a lot of question marks after the first six games, many of which will be resolved in the coming 21 days. It is still too early to speak of it being do-or-die in a season that will see the Rossoneri play over 50 times, but the upcoming stretch will certainly set a strong tone.

Can Milan come out of it as surprise title challengers, or will struggle manifest itself again as it has so often at crucial junctures? Join Oli and Ben as they analyse Milan’s October, rating the difficulty of each game, debating rotation and picking out the potential key players.
