Third defeat in four games: Instant reaction to AC Milan 0-2 Ferencvaros

By: Isak Möller

Lorenzo recorded his reaction to AC Milan’s defeat to Ferencvaros straight after the full-time whistle, highlighting what many Milanisti are feeling right now.

Milan knew that they more or less needed a win tonight to revive their Europa League campaign, following two defeats in the first three games. However, instead of building on the derby momentum, they were brought down to earth.

Ferencvaros scored two goals in the second half and deservedly came away with all three points. Truth be told, they could have scored more with their eight shots on target, while it was the opposite for Milan with a mere one (!) shot on target.

Straight after the full-time whistle, Lorenzo sat down to vent his thoughts on the performance, above all highlighting the inconsistencies we have seen with Milan this season. They just can’t seem to get things right in the Europa League and it’s not like the rotation is helping either.
