Night of own goals and the comeback

A crazy night for own goals and comebacks in the ninth round of Serie A. In Venezia, Inter did not need their strikers as the hosts' defence handed them a bizarre 2-0 win with two own goals in two minutes. In Milan, meanwhile, Fadio Cissé's brace turned into a nightmare as Bologna overturned their deficit for a stunning 4-2 win, sparked by a fatal own goal and a brace in just 60 seconds.

Fatal gifts hand Inter a bizarre win!

Inter Milan ground out a bizarre and thrilling 2-0 away win over Venezia. They controlled the game throughout, yet the decisive moment stayed locked away until the final minutes, when it arrived with a dark comedic flavour courtesy of the Venezia defence.

The breakthrough came in the 80th minute. Venezia defender Matias Moreno turned the ball into his own net by mistake to gift Inter the lead.

Barely two minutes later, the same scenario played out again. His teammate Ridouane Lahlal doubled Inter's tally with another own goal in the 82nd minute.

Venezia tried to fix the damage, but time was not on their side. Inter walked away with three precious points thanks to free gifts from the opposition defence, the strangest win of this Calcio season.

A crazy comeback: 60 seconds that turned everything upside down

Bologna produced something unbelievable at the San Siro, flipping a 2-1 deficit into a thrilling 3-2 win against their hosts Milan.

Early excitement set the tone. Samuel Mbangula opened the scoring in the 8th minute after a pass from Nadir Zortea (0-1).

Milan hit back hard through their star Fadio Cissé, who levelled in the 14th minute. The same man struck again in the 27th minute, after Fikayo Tomori came on, sending the Rossoneri into half-time in front.

One crazy minute flipped the whole game in the second half. In the 61st minute, Milan defender Davide Bartesaghi turned the ball into his own net by mistake to hand Bologna the equaliser.

Milan had no time to catch their breath. The knockout blow landed in the 62nd minute, Samuel Mbangula tapping in his second after a pass from Juan Miranda to put Bologna ahead.

Milan threw everything at it in the closing stages, but they could not crack Bologna's defensive code. A shocking home defeat followed, their lead from Cissé's brace squandered, while Bologna completed a comeback that will stay etched in the memory.

The coup de grâce arrived in the 86th minute. Mbangula stamped his name on a historic hat-trick, finishing off a perfectly weighted pass from Jens Odgaard to end Milan's hopes and turn the comeback into a goal festival.
