Serie A, matchday 6

Como v Roma

Scorers:

Sunday lunchtime serves up a big one. At 12.30pm Como under Cesc Fabregas welcome Roma of Gian Piero Gasperini to the Senigallia for matchday six of Serie A, on the return from the international break. It pits together two of the league's footballing masters and the two sides that, more than any others, look best placed to become Inter's main challengers. The Lariani, though, head into it on the back of a poor defeat in Frosinone after three wins and a draw, and sit six points off the top and three behind the Giallorossi themselves. Roma drew 2-2 against Inter before the break and can pull level with them in the table with three points, but they have lost every trip to Como over the last two seasons. Within the wider contest, there is also the duel between Nico Paz and Donyell Malen, both already on six goals this season.
