AC Milan’s management are working hard on tying down the core pieces for the future, with more renewals expected.

Strahinja Pavlovic put pen to paper on a new contract last week, while in the past 48 hours news has broken claiming that Milan have reached an agreement with Christian Pulisic too over a deal that will last until 2031

The work is not done there though: Adrien Rabiot is another star that Gerry Cardinale and co. want to give a new contract to, while one of the stories of the season so far – Alphadjo Cisse – can be added to the list of negotiations planned,

Fabrizio Romano spoke about Milan’s renewal mission on his YouTube channel, one that seems to have gone into overdrive in the past few days and weeks. His words are via Calciomercato.com.

“AC Milan is preparing to sign Christian Pulisic: 2031, agreement done. Adrian Rabiot next on the list. I’d like to add that AC Milan is also starting to work on Alphadjo Cisse’s renewal. AC Milan wants to secure him, the boy is doing very well: goals, performances, quality, potential,” he began.

“He’s a boy who deserves the spotlight he’s getting, another brace at San Siro, not a great result for AC Milan, but Cisse is a positive note that we must highlight and AC Milan is also working on his renewal.

“Cisse, who has scored four goals in seven league games and three in three Europa League matches – all against Salzburg – for a total of seven in ten games, is AC Milan’s leading scorer.

“His contract expires in 2030, but more than a length adjustment, it will certainly involve raising his salary, currently ‘just’ €500,000 per season, to levels commensurate with his performances.”
