Several AC Milan players made the most of the opportunity in Austria on Thursday evening, as the ratings from our readers show.

As opposed to the previous away game, i.e. the 1-1 draw against Sassuolo, it was a very good evening for Milan in Salzburg. Alphadjo Cisse opened the scoring early on for the Rossoneri and they (he), never looked back after that.

In the end, the scoreline was 4-0 in favour of Ruben Amorim’s men and they got back on track in the Europa League as a result, having lost the first round against Benfica. That was the most important part, but the manager also got some good responses from his players.

Salzburg 0-4 Milan: Ratings from our readers

Taking a look at the reader ratings, submitted via our tool in the player ratings article, it’s clear that four players stood out. Cisse is one of them, of course, and Adrien Rabiot is another. However, it’s also worth noting that there were decent ratings all around.

Francesco Camarda and Filippo Terracciano were the exceptions to that at 5.4 and 3.4 (!) respectively, with the latter rating having a lot to do with the red card handed out. Amorim was furious about that sending-off and it seems you were too.

In total, 212 of you voted and all of the players got at least 20 votes, hence why none of them is N/A. If you have any feedback about the tool or any features you would like to see, let us know in the comments!
