Juventus have secured back-to-back victories in the first two games of the season in Serie A, but must deal with injuries to their key players Khephren Thuram and Kenan Yildiz.

Juventus have scored four goals in the opening three games of the 2026-27 Serie A campaign, conceding just once.

Gleison Bremer provided the goal for the Old Lady’s 1-0 win over Frosinone in the season opener, while revived Nico Gonzalez and Teun Koopmeiners got the job done against Parma at home.

The third match of the season ended in a 1-1 draw against Milan at the Allianz Stadium.

“It was a solid performance, with the right objectives, motivation, quality and constant pressure,” Spalletti said after the Parma game.

“Clearly, you need that moment to finish it off, but according to you, anything without a goal at the end of it is negative. I’m happy to keep pressuring opponents for that amount of time.”

Juventus will be hoping to fight for the title this season even if the main target remains qualification for the Champions League, after missing out in 2025-26.

The race for the top four will be beyond intriguing, with Serie A delivering plenty of twists along the way, just like crown coins casino promo code.

The Bianconeri have brought in several replacements this summer, including Randal Kolo Muani from PSG and Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham, but two of their stars, Yildiz and Thuram, will have to remain out of action for a few months.

Yildiz suffered a fractured foot during the opening game in Frosinone and will have to undergo surgery.

“We were a bit unlucky with Yildiz’s injury, but it means other guys will have a chance to prove themselves,” Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini confirmed in a recent interview.

“The situation is clear: He has a metatarsal injury, he will need to be operated on and will be out for a few months.

“It’s not an injury that will affect things in the future. Once he returns he will be at 100%. It’s an annoying hitch, but it won’t take anything away from his career or his future.”

According to reports, Yildiz will remain out of action for over two months, while Thuram’s recovery time remains unclear. The Frenchman is likely to undergo knee surgery in France to resolve a patellofemoral syndrome which didn’t allow him to train with the rest of the team during the pre-season.

Thuram will visit specialist Bertrand Sonnery Cottet in Lyon, the same surgeon who performed knee surgeries on Gleison Bremer (cruciate ligament and meniscus) and Federico Gatti (meniscus) in recent years.

The Bianconeri are ready to bring in Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham as a replacement for Thuram, while Yildiz’s injury convinced Juventus to retain Nico Gonzalez who had spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Atletico Madrid.
