Pio Esposito’s Salary Set to Near €3m in Inter Deal Through 2032
Inter have confirmed a new contract for striker Pio Esposito that will keep the 2005-born forward at the club until 30 June 2032.
According to Tribuna, citing Inter.it, the Nerazzurri have officially announced the extension, underlining the club’s confidence in the young centre-forward as an important part of Cristian Chivu’s plans.
Esposito came through Inter’s academy before a loan spell at Spezia in Serie B sharpened his senior game. As SempreInter reported when his previous extension was finalised, Inter had already moved to protect his long-term future, and this new deal builds directly on that foundation.
Salary Set to Almost Triple
The renewal comes with a significant financial upgrade. Esposito’s earnings are expected to rise from just over €1 million to almost €3 million per season including bonuses, reflecting both his progress and the length of commitment Inter are prepared to make.
That faith has been built on the pitch. Esposito scored 10 goals and provided six assists across Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League football last season, and he has already found the net with a backheel against Monza plus an assist through the opening three matchdays this campaign.
Speaking to Inter TV after signing, Esposito admitted the moment carried real weight.
“I have to say, it’s a really emotional moment. When I got in the car to come here, I had butterflies in my stomach. Why? Because I feel that this is an important milestone in my life and my career, even though it’s absolutely not a finishing point. Instead, it’s a starting point from which to continue working in this way.”
He added that Chivu’s role in his development, dating back to Primavera and Under-14 level, had been decisive in shaping his path to the first team.
As SempreInter detailed earlier this summer, Inter’s determination to keep Esposito had already surfaced amid reported external interest, and tying him down until 2032 removes any lingering uncertainty over his future.
