The design of AC Milan’s third kit for the 2027-28 season has been leaked, according to a report, featuring a black base and yellow details.
The 2027-28 season will be the last with Puma as Milan’s kit partner, as an agreement worth €50m per year has been reached with Adidas from 2028-29 onwards. It’s a switch that many fans have longed for, but right now, the focus is on whether Puma will end their tenure at the top or not.
The reality is that a lot of the Puma kits, especially the ones in recent years, have been praised by the Milan fans for their design. There’s certainly no bad blood between the parties and as such, Puma is working very hard to deliver a strong output for the last season.
First look at the 2027-28 third kit
This morning, an image of what is believed to be Milan’s third kit for the 2027-28 season surfaced, courtesy of the usually credible Footy Headlines. The base is black with grey paint splatter effects, while the details are yellow/neon-yellow.
It doesn’t really remind us of any previous kits that Milan have worn, especially since it’s a rather bold design (but it’s a third kit, after all). Compared to the current third kit, for example, the 2026-27 edition is much more muted and clean, whereas this is very lively.
Only the chest image has been leaked so far, so we will have to wait a little longer to see the full shirt. Let’s also remember that this is an early leak and that the final design will likely differ a little. Usually, the final version tends to look better.
