Official: Starting XIs for RB Salzburg vs. AC Milan – six changes from Sassuolo draw
AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has named his starting line-up for the game against RB Salzburg, and he has opted for wholesale changes.
Milan lost their opening Europa League game 2-0 at home to Benfica so they must bounce back with a positive result. It will not be easy though, given that Salzburg are undefeated in their first 15 games under Danny Röhl this season across all competitions.

As the reports suggested in the build-up to the game, Amorim has chosen to go with quite a youthful Milan line-up for this game, against one of the youngest teams in the competition.
Mike Maignan remains in goal while Strahinja Pavlovic and Koni De Winter keep their places in the rearguard. Fikayo Tomori gets his first start of the season on the right, while Davide Bartesaghi comes in on the left.
Ardon Jashari will get another chance in midfield, in a pairing alongside Sunday’s goal scorer Adrien Rabiot. Flanking them will be Omari Hutchinson on the right and Alphadjo Cisse on the left.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek will operate in the attacking midfield position behind Francesco Camarda, who starts for Milan for the first time since November 2024.
The likes of Mario Gila, Luka Modric, Christian Pulisic, Samuel Chukwueze, Diego Moreira and Francesco Camarda make up a strong bench.
