Official: Lazio confirm squad list of 24 players take on Juventus in Serie A

Gennaro Gattuso has confirmed a Lazio squad of 24 players to take on Juventus in Sunday evening’s headline clash in Serie A, including a return to the fold for Luca Pellegrini.

Lazio require three points away against Juventus if they are to draw level with Inter at the top of the Serie A standings, and will be up against a Bianconeri side that were held to a 1-1 draw by Cagliari last weekend, but have since picked up a 2-1 victory away against Celta Vigo in the Europa League.

Tonight’s game will be a meeting of two former Italy national team head coaches, Gattuso having replace Luciano Spalletti as CT last year.

Lazio have recently published Gattuso’s squad list for Sunday’s highly-anticipated match against Juventus, naming 24 players including Pellegrini, whose only minutes this season have come in the first round of the Coppa Italia.

In terms of his starting XI, Gattuso is not expected to make too many changes to a winning side, although there have been suggestions that Josip Sutalo will start at centre-back instead of Danilho Doekhi.

Kick-off this evening is due at 19.45 BST.
