Official: Gila, Moreira and Rabiot will miss Milan’s game against Udinese
AC Milan have confirmed that three very important players will miss the game against Udinese tomorrow, namely Mario Gila, Adrien Rabiot and Diego Moreira.
After the heavy defeat to Bournemouth on Thursday, Milan immediately set their sights on the Udinese clash to bounce back. However, although Goncalo Ramos is back and training and will be available, Ruben Amorim has been dealt a massive blow.
As confirmed by Milan this afternoon, the likes of Gila, Rabiot and Moreira will all miss out on the game tomorrow. The trio have been important players for Milan this season, especially the first two, so this is a massive blow.
Details of the absences
Gila is struggling with inflammation after an overload to his left ankle, while Rabiot and Moreira are both suffering from fatigue (right calf and left flexor respectively). It sounds like their exclusions are more precautionary than anything, but it’s still a massive blow.
Amorim rotated heavily in the game against Bournemouth and this was the game to revert to the usual starting eleven, but now he won’t be able to do that. Let’s see how he will approach the situation, especially on the flanks where there is already a lack of depth.
