Official: Dybala left out of Roma squad for Cagliari clash

Paulo Dybala is still not ready to return from injury, so Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini has kept him off the Giallorossi’s squad list for tonight’s match against Cagliari.

Roma star Dybala remains on the sidelines for tonight’s Serie A match against Cagliari.

The Giallorossi have just announced their squad list for the game, and Dybala isn’t in it.

The team trained at Trigoria this morning, hours before kick-off at 20:45 CET [19:45 GMT], and at the end of the session, Gasperini decided not to include the Argentine in the available players list.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Dybala still needs a few more training sessions before being eligible to feature in a competitive match.

Roma have a tight fixture list, as tonight’s game is their sixth since club football returned in early October after a three-week international break.

Dybala, 32, has provided four assists in six appearances across all competitions this season and missed the last three games with a calf injury.

After tonight’s home Serie A game with Cagliari, Roma will visit Udinese next Saturday and then meet Manchester United away on Tuesday, November 3. According to Sky, Roma hope Dybala will be available against Udinese and fit enough to start against the Red Devils at Old Trafford.
