Not Only Floriani – Lazio Planning to Renew Three Other Player Contracts
Romano Floriani Mussolini isn’t the only Lazio player who’s expected to sign a new contract in the coming weeks or months, as three of his teammates are also on the club’s renewal dossier.
Four Lazio Players Could Become Free Agents
This season, four Biancocelesti players are running on expiring contracts. Matteo Cancellieri, Manuel Lazzari, Danilo Cataldi, and Luca Pellegrini could all become free agents in June. However, the Lazio management has yet to show any urgency on this front, suggesting that the club might be happy to part ways with some, if not all of them.
New Floriani Mussolini Contract is a Lazio Priority
On the contrary, Lazio sporting director Angelo Fabiani seems more interested in securing the services of players whose contracts will expire in June 2028. Over the past few weeks, it has been reported that the club is close to finalising an agreement with Floriani Mussolini and his entourage.
The Lazio youth product is currently the lowest earner in Gennaro Gattuso’s first team, with a basic net salary of €100,000. The club is looking to adjust his wages in accordance with his newly acquired status as a regular starter in the first team. Once he signs a new deal, his new yearly salary should start at €500,000 and will rise with every new season.
Rovella, Isaksen & Dele-Bashiru Set for New Lazio Deals
According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via Lazio News 24), the Aquile are also looking to lock down Nicolo Rovella, Gustav Isaksen, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru with long-term deals. All of their contracts have their deadline in June 2028. The plan is to start the negotiations in the coming weeks and finalise the agreements by December, ahead of a potential transfer ban.
The Figures
Rovella currently earns €2 million per year, whereas Isaksen collects €1.5 million and Dele-Bashiru €1.3 million (according to Capology). All three are expected to receive a pay rise, although the newspaper doesn’t disclose any figures.
