Moretto: Milan eyeing Club Brugge star Tresoldi after almost landing him previously

Matteo Moretto claims that AC Milan have begun studying the terms of a potential deal to sign Club Brugge star Nicolo Tresoldi.
There was a lot of clamour for Milan to go out and make an attempt for Tresoldi after his hat-trick against Inter during Club Brugge’s Champions League win at San Siro. The forward grew up a boyhood fan of the club and he has made no secret of it.
Not long after, La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Gerry Cardinale is plotting an approach for Tresoldi that could materialise as early as the winter window. After Charles De Ketelaere and Ardon Jashari, round three of negotiations with Club Brugge could follow.
Milan studying Tresoldi swoop
Moretto gave an update in a YouTube video on various topics, from the arrival of Markus Krösche to the centre-back pursuit. He also went on to address the idea that a forward could arrive, with his words MilanNews.
“Francesco Camarda’s situation needs to be understood. Milan will certainly have to figure out what to do, they will try to determine the best path for the young Rossoneri striker, who perhaps also needs more playing time,” he said.
“However, they must also keep an eye on another issue, because it’s true that Milan are also paying attention to the performances and financial structure of the operation involving Nicolò Tresoldi, who is a self-confessed Milan fan.
“Furthermore, there’s a back-and-forth between Milan and Tresoldi, as years ago the Rossoneri had closed down Tresoldi, but then the parties didn’t reach a signature. We’ll see if the Rossoneri club will be able to forcefully return to him in January.”
