Tomorrow night, AC Milan host Bologna as they hope to take another big step towards an unbeaten month in Serie A.

In recent weeks, Bologna have improved, making it a more difficult task than it may have seemed at the start of this run. However, the Rossoblu have not beaten any of the traditional European sides, so Milan will come into this one confident.

After their own 2-0 win this weekend, Ruben Amorim is having to ration minutes and it will be no different at San Siro, especially with the derby on the horizon.

Late changes to the expected XI

This evening, MilanNews has provided an update on the expected XI for the game, and several players will be rested.

In defence, the mainstays will not be replaced. Mike Maignan, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic will all start, whilst Fikayo Tomori’s stay at right-back is almost a guarantee, due to injuries. On the left, though, Pervis Estupinan will return to the starting XI.

Changes will really be seen in midfield, with Luka Modric expected to be rested for Yunus Musah, who will start alongside Ardon Jashari, who is being given a run of games.

Ahead of them, Omari Hutchinson’s streak in the team continues to three games, whilst Davide Bartesaghi’s role on the left wing will be trialled again. However, Christian Pulisic will also be rested for the big game, with Alphadjo Cisse slotting in behind Goncalo Ramos. His inclusion is something of a shock in itself…

Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic, Estupinan; Musah, Jashari; Hutchinson, Cisse, Bartesaghi; Ramos.
