Milan’s Curva Sud taunt Inter’s Curva Nord after angry post-derby banner – photos

Inter’s ultras were not best pleased with the way their team played during the derby loss to AC Milan on Saturday, it would be fair to say.

All four goals came in the first half, with Christian Pulisic’s header and Adrien Rabiot’s flick from a corner putting Milan in dreamland less than 10 minutes in. Alessandro Bastoni halved the deficit, before Diego Moreira’s outstanding free-kick restored the two-goal lead.

As Calciomercato.it reveal, Inter’s ultras put up a banner after a 3-1 loss against Milan, criticising the players’ attitude during and after the game: “A derby lost without even playing. Not even the guts to say goodbye.”

It was placed just outside San Siro, and it refers to the fact that the players – instead of going to stand in front of the fans after the final whistle – mostly chose to head straight down the tunnel.

As is often the case, the response didn’t take long to come from the Curva Sud. Having seen the Nord’s banner, they put one of their own outside the stadium which read: “Inter fans are going crazy. Do you know who will say goodbye? My a**!”
