Milan Primavera suffered yet another defeat against Roma earlier today as red cards, once again, affected the outcome of the game.

After starting the season with two wins and a draw, certainly showing promising signs, Milan Primavera have now lost two games on the trot. 0-2 against Hellas Verona last weekend and 0-1 against Roma earlier today.

They got one red card against Hellas Verona and they followed that up with another two today, down to ten men almost straight after Roma took the lead. In short, they haven’t made things easy for themselves lately.

Second half was decisive

There were several chances for both sides in the first half, but Roma came the closest to scoring after hitting the bar through Guaglianone in the dying minutes. The real trouble for the Rossoneri came in the second half, as the Giallorossi slowly took more and more control of the game.

Sure enough, the aforementioned Guaglianone gave Roma the lead in the 62nd minute. Just three minutes later, El Hadji Malick Cisse received his second yellow card after what can only be described as a silly foul, putting his side in a very difficult position.

Before the game was up, Nolli was also sent off for a reckless challenge, with Giovanni Renna’s side truly losing their temper in this one. Roma deservedly won after taking control in the second half and now the Rossoneri have a lot to evaluate.
