Milan Futuro 1-2 Rovato: Ossola’s goal not enough as Rossoneri lose for second time

Milan Futuro were unable to build on their positive start to the season as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Rovato on Sunday afternoon.

A dramatic ending saw Milan Futuro clinch all three points against Villa Valle before the international break coming back from behind to win 2-1, with Lorenzo Ossola and Fabio Pandolfi scoring second-half goals.

That made it three wins from four in Serie D for Sergio Navarro’s side, who were third in Group B behind Chievo and Nibbiano & Valtidone heading into today’s game.

The game saw an early exchange of goals when Fossati converted a penalty for Rovato in the seventh minute, followed immediately by an equaliser from Lorenzo Ossola just 60 seconds later. There would be no more goals in the first half, even though chances were traded.

However, the away side secured the victory with a match-winning goal by Foh in the 61st minute. The Futuro tried to apply some late pressure but they seemed to wane as the game went on as tired legs took over, making it three wins and two defeats. from five games.
