Man Utd hammered by Como as pressure on Carrick builds

Manchester United suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Como as Nico Paz scored twice and provided an assist in a dominant display from the Italian side.

Paz opened the scoring inside two minutes before setting up Anastasios Douvikas to double Como’s advantage shortly after half-time.

The man of the match then added his second before the hour mark, capitalising on Carlos Baleba’s mistake before finishing past Senne Lammens.

And the home side made it four with 15 minutes remaining when defender Jacobo Ramon headed in unmarked.

Joshua Zirkzee grabbed a late consolation goal but the heavy defeat heaps further pressure on boss Michael Carrick, who is without a win in his last seven games.
