It wasn’t a good day at the office for the AC Milan players, losing 3-0 to Bournemouth, and that was certainly reflected in the fan player ratings.

As if the heavy rain and cold temperature weren’t enough, Milan failed to make it three consecutive wins. Instead, their confidence took a real knock as Bournemouth controlled the game from start to finish, not even allowing the Rossoneri a shot on target.

While it was a poor performance collectively, with the tactics having no effect on the home side, the individual performances didn’t exactly help Ruben Amorim’s side. After all, two penalties and a red card are always going to be difficult to come back from.

No love from the fans

113 readers submitted their player ratings in our tool last night and today, which in itself shows how frustrating this game was (usually 200-300 readers participate). Taking a look at the average fan ratings, not a single player got 5/10 or higher.

In fact, all of them were below 5 except for Lorenzo Torriani, who was five on the dot. Mike Maignan was unsurprisingly the worst at 2.0, due to his red card, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek wasn’t far behind at 2.9. As you can see from the full list below, it was a negative evening for everyone.
