Longo: Milan will make ‘concrete attempt’ to sign Tresoldi in January

AC Milan and Gerry Cardinale will make a concrete attempt to sign Nicolo Tresoldi from Club Brugge in January, according to a report.
In isolation, Milan’s goalscoring tally doesn’t look so awful in the league, with 21 goals scored in ten games for an average of 2.1 goals per game. However, only one of these goals was scored by one of their strikers, namely Goncalo Ramos back in August.
The Rossoneri clearly have a problem in their No.9 role, which is a bit frustrating as €74m was spent to secure the aforementioned striker from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. And that is why there could be some movement in January.
Nicolo Tresoldi, who currently plays for Club Brugge, is one of the players who have been mentioned. Especially since the 22-year-old himself has flirted with Milan several times, labelling a move to the club as his life dream.
Tresoldi interest is concrete
In his latest YouTube video, Daniele Longo provided an update on Tresoldi’s potential move to Milan, stating that a concrete attempt will be made by Gerry Cardinale in January. Whether an agreement can be reached with Club Brugge, however, is the unknown.
“We have been trying to understand in the last few days whether we can run this story or not, because we don’t want to do it just for clicks or comments. However, what we now understand is that Cardinale wants to make a concrete attempt for Nicolo Tresoldi.
“Milan know that Club Brugge are a tough nut to crack during negotiations, but also that they tend to sell their jewels in the end. Is it impossible? No. Difficult? Yes. The attempt will be concrete and there is a willingness to sign him,” he stated.
