Legends, tears, the fans and amazing goals: Behind the scenes of AC Milan’s win over Inter
Eventually we will move on from content about Saturday’s derby win over Inter, but for now let’s enjoy it a bit more.
Milan extended their unbeaten run against their city rivals to eight games at San Siro over the weekend, and the winning run to four matches. They did so thanks to a commanding 3-1 victory in which all of the goals came in the first half.
Christian Pulisic got the first with a header, Adrien Rabiot clipped in the second from a corner and then Diego Moreira – who assisted the first two goals – re-established the two-goal lead with a brilliantly taken free-kick.
It was a very memorable night full of emotions, from Ricardo Kaka’s pre-match tears while collecting his Hall of Fame trophy to Gerry Cardinale having a lump in his throat following the full-time whistle.
Lega Serie A have published a ‘behind the scenes’ video from the derby, featuring snippets from inside the dressing rooms, on the sidelines, in the crowd and even at roof level.
