Ricky Kaka has sent a message to the AC Milan fans ahead of tonight’s big derby clash, which is a special fixture for the Brazilian.

The first goal that Kaka scored for Milan was against Inter, more specifically in October 2003. That game ended 3-2 in favour of the Rossoneri and the Brazilian legend will be hoping for a repeat tonight, with three crucial points up for grabs.

In addition to the prestige of the Derby della Madonnina, it will also be a special evening because of what will happen before the game. Indeed, Kaka will be inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame, receiving his award in front of a sold-out San Siro.

Kaka’s message before Milan-Inter

Earlier this afternoon, Milan published a video of Kaka showing his ‘love letter’ for the Derby della Madonnina, as well as a video of him greeting fans on the street.

“Dear Milanisti,

“The derby will always hold a special place in my heart, and scoring my first goal was a truly unique emotion. Some magic is never forgotten, and some loves never end.

“Forza Milan!,” he wrote.

It remains to be seen if he will have a win to celebrate at the end of the evening, on top of the Hall of Fame.
