Juventus are expected to invest in another striker in January, with Benjamin Sesko of Manchester United, Florian Balogun at AS Monaco and Sunderland’s Brian Brobbey all possible options.

The Bianconeri have struggled to score goals or find a consistent formation this season, and some of that is blamed on the difficulties of Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade.

Coach Luciano Spalletti has generally been reticent to start them together, mainly because he would have no alternatives off the bench during the match to freshen things up.

Juventus looking for extra strikers

According to Calciomercato, the plan for the club is to bring in additional attacking options during the January transfer window.

This could mean going back to some names they already mentioned in the past, like Sesko at Manchester United, but he is currently out injured.

USMNT striker Balogun is only under contract at AS Monaco until June 2028, leading many to believe he will be sold in the next few months to avoid losing him as a free agent further down the line.

The 25-year-old scored one goal in only five Ligue 1 appearances this season, as he had been all set to join Everton when refusing to sign the contract after a tense medical test.

Another name mentioned is Brobbey, the 24-year-old who found the net three times in eight games for Sunderland this season and only this week extended his contract to 2031.

Eintracht Frankfurt talent Younes Ebnoutalib impressed this term with eight goals in 10 competitive games and the 23-year-old is no stranger to Italian football, having spent two years at Perugia.

The most intriguing option would be Italian Antonio Raimondo, who has been remarkable at Frosinone with nine goals in 11 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

He is still owned by Bologna and made the move on loan in the summer of 2025, helping them achieve promotion from Serie B.

However, he sprained his ankle and a potentially lengthy lay-off could prompt Juventus to look elsewhere in January.
